Welcome to 7^th grade English Language Arts and Reading at EHMS! 

Welcome Hawk Nation!  This school year will ensure that our students improve their readiness and supporting standards for seventh grade state testing.  In preparation for the STAAR Reading, we will cover daily objectives which will sharpen our students’ knowledge in both areas.   The writing short response process coupled with proper English grammar is essential to the success of passing the STAAR test. We have a variety of resources, tools, and strategies for any level of writing.  I look forward to the new school year and working with your child.
