Welcome to the HAWK Band Class Page

I am excited to welcome you to my page.  I have been teaching for 23 years with UISD.  My first 8 years were as Assistant Band Director and have been Head Band Director for the past 15 years.  I will continue to do my very best to teach every child that comes through my band program.  I am happy to say that I help promote and establish a band program that made it to the State Honor Band finals through the Honor Band Competition held in San Antonio (Texas Music Education Association).  My former middle school band program was been selected three times to the National Wind Band  Project (The Foundation for Music Education) as 2 time National Winner and 1 Commended Winner.  I will do my best to promote and help make every child in the EHMS BAND as successful as they can be.  I am in charge of the entire band program from 6^th – 8^th.
